MEASURING GUIDELINES

Accurate measurements are very important for both pricing and correct fit. Use a hard-edged ruler or steel tape, not a cloth tape. For inside mounts, width measurements should be rounded down 1/8" to prevent the shade from binding against the window casing.

    INSIDE MOUNTING (IB)

  • For the width, measure across the window casing from one inside edge to the other at the top, middle and bottom. Record the smallest width rounded down to the nearest 1/8".

  • For length, record the inside area from the top inside edge down to the top of the sill at the left, middle and right. Record the longest length rounded up to the nearest 1/8".

  • The factory will then make the necessary deductions from the inside mount.

    OUTSIDE MOUNTING (OB)

  • For the width, measure from one edge of the casing to the other. Record the measurement rounded up to the nearest 1/8"

  • For length, measure from the top of the windowsill up to the desired top of the shade. Record the measurement rounded up to the nearest 1/8".

  • The outside mounting shades are made to the order dimensions.
